Total Ltd welcomes K-Cloud into the Total Group

Total Ltd, the leading telecommunications service provider specialising in the Professional Services sector, today announced completion of a deal that sees K-Cloud become a subsidiary of the Total group of companies.

K-Cloud provides IT solutions to the Professional Services sector specifically by way of Cloud services and their ongoing management.  The company was formed in 2009 by Malcolm Simms and David Fazakerley, both of whom had extensive experience in the market from their own senior IT roles within leading law firms.  K-Cloud has since gone on to secure a number of high profile customers, such as top 200 legal firm, Thomson Snell & Passmore.

Stuart Davis, Director at Total Ltd, said:  "We are very excited about K-Cloud joining the Total Group.  For some time, Total has been looking to launch a Cloud offering tailored to the Professional Services market and K-Cloud is the natural choice.  Our investment in K-Cloud represents an opportunity to bring a proven end to end solution to our customers, whilst strengthening both existing businesses.

David, Malcolm and the team at K-Cloud have built an innovative and solid Cloud proposition in a rapidly expanding market.  With our funding and support, they can continue to grow and further develop their capability as they evolve future Cloud products and services."

David Fazakerley, CEO of K-Cloud Ltd, added: "The new partnership between Total and K-Cloud brings together established telecoms excellence in the Legal and Professional Services sector with K-Cloud's Legal desktop and outsourced IT services.  K-Cloud's current and future clients can look forward to enhanced offerings across the Virtual Desktop, Legal Applications, Telecoms, Networks and IT Services portfolio.  Total's investment also allows K-Cloud to invest in enlarged service and support teams, increase the rate of client implementations and broaden the range of technical and product services on offer."

Duncan Hannigan, Head of Professional Services at Total Ltd also commented:  "This is extremely positive news for Total and our own client base.  We are committed to the sector in delivering a full portfolio of telecoms solutions, and Cloud services form a natural progression in enhancing our service and product set.  K-Cloud share our dedication to Legal and Professional Services and partner with many leading software providers such as Pilgrim Systems, BigHand and Mimecast, to provide a pre-built and ready to go solution, directly relevant to our market."

K-Cloud will continue to operate from their existing London offices.
